Thank you for being a part of the Duke Lemur Center’s Stay Away 5K on Earth Day weekend! Every year, 100% of the donations raised through the 5K go directly to the DLC’s lemur care and conservation initiatives. We are so grateful for your support!
2022 Results
The DLC’s third annual Stay Away 5K raised nearly $39,600!
The event drew 1,082 participants—including 135 teams—from 46 U.S. states and four countries. Together we ran, walked, hiked, swam, and kayaked to raise awareness of lemurs and to benefit lemur care and conservation at the DLC.

Shirts update
All remaining t-shirts will be mailed today (April 28), with the exception of a few youth-sized tees we’re waiting on from the printer.
