In order to keep our endangered primates safe and healthy, we regret that we cannot accommodate any unscheduled, walk-in visitors in any capacity. Please plan ahead and make a reservation before visiting to see the lemurs. We look forward to seeing you!
Holiday Closures
We will be completely closed to the public (including the gift shop) on the following dates in 2024:

Gift shop
The Lemur Landing Gift Shop is open for in-person shopping every day (specific hours below in EST), as well as before and after all scheduled tours. Note that you will not be able to see the lemurs when you visit the gift shop unless you also have a tour reservation.

Tours
The Duke Lemur Center offers a variety of in-person tours from May – September. All guests must have a reservation to visit the lemurs and we cannot accommodate walk-in visitors.
