2. Symbolic Adoption Packages ($50-100)
Adopt a Lemur packages aren’t just snuggly—these symbolic adoptions connect you, or your gift recipient, to a real lemur who resides at the Duke Lemur Center! More than just a cuddly friend, each huggable plush comes with a code to sign up for an entire year of quarterly updates about your lemur adoptee. You’ll also receive a complete adoption kit—an irresistibly cute, thoughtfully curated, and educational “gift for good” for yourself or someone you love. 3. Paintings By Lemurs ($25-40)
Deck the halls with one-of-a-kind masterpieces by our finest lemur artists! Each work of lemur art comes with a high-quality print of the artist(s), info sheet about the species, and a gallery-style ID tag. No two paintings will look alike and are all originals! 4. Huggable Lemur Plushes ($24-30)
These adorable plush lemurs were custom designed for the DLC based on photos of our resident lemurs! Choose from five cuddly species, each decked out in a cute Duke shirt or bandana—which are removable, so UNC fans can also enjoy this huggable plush present. All plushes are available on our online store!
5. Lemur-ify Your Tree! ($11+)
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, How lovely are your branches—especially when they’re decked with LEMURS! Set of four includes a ruffed lemur, Coquerel’s sifaka, DLC-NC, and ring-tailed lemur. The complete four-ornament set can be purchased online, and individual ornaments are available both online and onsite at our gift shop. All are sourced from sustainably harvested wood and made in the USA.
6. Gifts FOR Lemurs ($6+)
Don’t forget the NON-HUMAN primates in your life… Lemurs love presents, too! Select a fun toy, snuggly bed, or tasty treat from the DLC’s Amazon wishlist, and your present will be sent directly to the DLC. (You can also make the holidays special for the DLC’s staff and volunteers by sending gloves, scrubs, or other supplies that help them care for the lemurs!)
7. Last Minute Shopping
