The Anna Borruel Codina Center for Lemur Medicine and Research

at the Duke Lemur Center, Duke University

Where we learn from and care for lemurs, Earth’s most endangered mammals

The Anna Borruel Codina Center for Lemur Medicine and Research is a new 8,000 square foot facility providing a hub for world-class veterinary care, non-invasive research, and collaboration at the Duke Lemur Center. This building and its cutting-edge technologies were made possible thanks to an $8M gift by an anonymous Duke alumnus whose family has a passion for lemurs and wildlife protection. To read the full story of our new building and how it will serve the Duke Lemur Center, check out the article about the Borruel Center in the 2021 Duke Lemur Center magazine.
