This holiday adoption package is available only for shipment in the contiguous U.S. and must be ordered on or before December 15th for packaging and USPS Priority delivery prior to December 25th.

- Private Lemurs Live tour for up to 8 people. Reservation must be made in advance. Value of tour passes ($125) is not tax deductible and will not be included on your tax receipt from Duke University. (You may opt-out of the tickets to keep your gift fully tax deductible.)
This Adopt a Lemur package increases your support of our lemurs and includes items outlined in the $500 Care Package PLUS:
- Instead of a private tour through our tour department, you will receive a behind the scenes visit for up to four people, arranged through the DLC’s development staff. Reservations must be made in advance.
- Recognition on the donor wall in the Lemur Landing Gift shop as well as other benefits as a member of the DLC’s Lemur Champion Society
Fully support the average cost of a year’s care for one lemur at the Duke Lemur Center! With this premiere Adopt a Lemur care package, you receive all of the items outlined in the $1,000 package PLUS:
- Exclusive adoption – choose a specific animal, not just the species!
- Half-day visit on a weekday morning at the DLC for up to eight people on a customized series of behind-the-scenes visits with our lemur experts, coordinated by the DLC’s development staff. Arrangements must be made in advance.
- Recognition on the donor wall in the Lemur Landing Gift shop as well as other benefits as a member of the DLC’s Director’s Society
If you would like your gift to contribute toward the care of the lemurs here at the Duke Lemur Center, but you don’t want or need an adoption (the welcome packet and animal updates). Your gift at any level is appreciated!
