As a part of our tri-fold mission, educational opportunities at the Lemur Center are abundant. National and international graduate and undergraduate students are involved in projects studying feeding adaptations, vocalizations, reproductive behavior, vertical clinging and leaping, and vision acuity, for example. Local youth from grades K-12 have the unique opportunity to visit the Center and see these endangered animals as part of school-sponsored field trips. Additionally, as part of our community outreach program, we endeavor to "educate" the general public about these special animals.
