What does it include?
Club members will receive a monthly newsletter from the DLC education team with articles, activities, and video clips on fascinating topics, featuring plenty of cute lemur images to get your monthly lemur fix. Plus, join us on an exclusive YouTube Live stream hosted by our education team with LIVE lemur content just for you! On the first Tuesday of every month, you can take a break from your day to spend 20-30 minutes with us and the lemurs and interact in the live chat during the program. Can’t join live? Don’t worry – we’ll keep the recording online, so you can watch your exclusive Learning Lemurs Club video whenever is convenient for you.
The education team collaborates with the animal care, conservation, and research departments to feature a wide variety of subjects and give you some peeks behind the DLC curtain. You—or the lucky recipient of your great gift—will also receive exclusive access to our subscriber-only email address, so you can chat with our education team about all of your burning lemur questions.
Our education team will create all of the content for the Learning Lemurs Club, and all proceeds from registration fees go directly to supporting the DLC’s operations here in North Carolina and across the world in Madagascar.
What is the cost?
The below fees are per person, so each member should register separately. Entry to this club makes a wonderful gift, so we have made it easy to register someone as the gift recipient!
Six-month Learning Lemurs Club membership: $75 plus tax
12-month Learning Lemurs Club membership: $120 plus tax
If you are a public school educator, please email us at primate@duke.edu from your school account to receive complementary FREE access to our Learning Lemurs Club monthly newsletters AND the Virtual Tour for use in your classroom! You will automatically be registered for a 12-month subscription when you email.
