In-Kind Donations
Thank you for your interest in donating one or more in-kind item to the Duke Lemur Center! In-kind donation items with an estimated value of $250 or more will be considered as drawing items to help raise awareness and funds for the Lemur Center. Any items that we are unable to use as drawing items may instead be used as drawing items or door prizes at Lemur Center events, or as special incentives and awards for the Duke Lemur Center’s hard-working volunteers, interns, students, and animal care and education staff.
Donors of items with an estimated value of $500 or more may be recognized as sponsors on the sponsorship page of our website and should indicate this as their preference when dropping off or mailing the item.
If you are interested in donating one or more items toward this purpose, please complete the form below, or send an email to mary.paisley@duke.edu with “IN-KIND DONATION OFFER” as the subject heading. Please identify the item/s you are interested in donating, a short description, an estimated value, your name, mailing address, and phone number. We’ll be in touch after we review your submitted information. Thank you for your help in this very special way!
Amazon Wishlist

Tax information: Note that items purchased through the DLC’s amazon wishlist are “gifts in kind” and are not considered direct monetary donations to the Duke Lemur Center. If you have any questions about the tax-deductible nature of your gift and paperwork requirements, please consult your tax advisor. If you wish to receive an official letter of acknowledgement, please send a request outlining the donation with copies of the receipts to: Donated Items Acknowledgement / Duke Lemur Center / 3705 Erwin Road / Durham, NC 27705.
