Registration is now open for tours in May! Our tour season starts on Monday 5/5, and we’ve got fantastic tour options for you to consider as you plan your visit! We’ve got tips on which specific tours you might want to consider below, or you can view all tour options at THIS LINK.

Looking for a great introduction to the Duke Lemur Center’s adorable and endangered residents? We recommend checking out a General Tour – typically available Thursday and Friday evenings, or Saturday and Sunday mornings (full details and registration information for General Tours at THIS LINK).

Looking for a more personalized introductory experience that avoids weekend crowds? We recommend checking out a Private Tour – typically available on Mondays (full details and registration information for Private Tours at THIS LINK).

Looking for a unique experience that you will never forget? The Walking with Lemurs tour is an incredible opportunity to see lemurs in large forest habitats, no fencing between you (or your camera lens) and the lemurs! This tour does have a minimum age and specific physical requirements. It is available every day but Tuesdays (full details and registration information for Walking with Lemurs tours at THIS LINK).

Looking for a unique AND private experience catered to your small group’s specific interests? The Behind the Scenes tour is our most customizable tour, combining up-close views of the lemurs with an incredibly knowledgeable and highly experienced tour guide! This tour does have a minimum age requirement and group size limit of 4 people. It is available every day but Tuesdays (full details and registration information for Behind the Scenes tours at THIS LINK).
