Vote for your favorite!
The designs are in, and the DLC’s panel of judges has selected three finalists. Now it’s up to you to vote for YOUR favorite, which will be printed on a limited edition run of t-shirts distributed to Stay Away 5K participants!
Vote on FACEBOOK: Visit the DLC Facebook page and vote by “liking” your favorite design! Please vote ON THE DLC PAGE and not on a “shared” post to ensure that your vote gets counted! We’ve pinned the design entries to the top of our feed so it’s easy to find and vote.
Vote on INSTAGRAM: Visit the DLC Instagram account @dukelemurcenter, locate the post, and tell us your favorite design in the comments!
Vote on TWITTER: Visit the DLC Twitter feed @dukelemurcenter and vote in the pinned poll at the top of the page!
Vote via EMAIL: Email sara.clark@duke.edu with your favorite choice. Please write “T-shirt design contest” in the email subject line.
The winner of the contest will be determined by the entry that receives the most votes (via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and email) of the three finalists posted online. You can vote once via each platform, for up to four total votes for your favorite design! Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on March 7, 2022.
Registration for the Stay Away 5K opens March 9, 2022 via the 5K homepage.
Prizes
The winner of the t-shirt design contest will receive the following:
1. Custom Celebration Package ($150 value), which includes a custom edited video and a mailed lemur swag gift bag! (Swag bag can be mailed only within the United States; all other package components are virtual and can be enjoyed anywhere in the world.)
2. Symbolic adoption of the lemur species of your choice ($50 value)
3. One free shirt featuring your winning design!
Deadlines
February 17, 2022 – art contest begins
March 3, 2022 – final day to submit art
March 4, 2022 – selection of top three submissions; online voting begins
March 7, 2022 – online voting ends
March 9, 2022 – winner revealed; 5K registration opens
