New vital signs monitor
SurgiVet monitoring is the standard of care for tracking patients’ vital signs-heart rate and rhythm, respiration, body temperature, and blood pressure- while under anesthesia. Our existing monitor is no longer fully functional and urgently needs replacement. Funding needed: $6,605.
Portable ultrasound machine
Ultrasonography is one of the most essential tools our veterinary team uses daily to care for the Duke Lemur Center’s colony. From diagnosing illness to monitoring pregnancies, this technology allows us to deliver expert, non-invasive care to endangered lemurs. Our current machine is outdated, and no longer meets modern veterinary standards. With your support, we can replace it with a state-of-the-art portable ultrasound system—ensuring our team can continue to provide the highest level of care. Funding needed: $37,000.
