Join us on from 1:00 ’til 4:00 p.m. on March 15, 2020 or March 22, 2020 to discuss the surprisingly significant role that lemur poop plays in everything from animal care to research projects. It may sound ridiculous, but researchers can skip the lemur and go straight to the poop to study everything from pregnancy hormones to diet to gut microbiomes, and so much more! Find out why fecal matter really does matter to us in this brand new, one-of-a-kind program.

Because this program will include behind-the-scenes components and high-level discussions of research topics, all participants must be at least 12 years of age. All participants who are 12-17 years old must have a waiver completed by a legal guardian, and a supervising adult (though not necessarily a legal guardian) also registered to participate in the workshop. If you or someone in your party is not of age to participate in this workshop, don’t worry! We plan to introduce Wild Workshops for all ages in this new educational series, so stay tuned for more options!
Additional details: This workshop will have a maximum of 16 registrants. This program will run “rain or shine,” but if dangerous inclement weather occurs, registrants will be contacted at least 24 hours in advance to make alternate arrangements. Because of the behind-the-scenes elements of this experience, all participants will be required to wear closed-toe shoes. Any guests requiring accessibility accommodations should please inquire at the time of registration to ensure this experience will be appropriate.
Registration and Cost
Cost is $85 + tax per person. Registration fee to be paid when confirming registration. Full refunds will be available with cancellations made by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3. After that date, all registration fees are non-refundable.
