Symbolically adopt a lemur and support its care here at the Duke Lemur Center!
Choose your gift level and receive a personalized care package for yourself or an animal lover in your life. You or your chosen recipient will receive an adoption packet* and quarterly email updates for a year on a specific lemur who lives at the Duke Lemur Center.
You are welcome to support lemur care at any level you choose, but a minimum donation of $50 is required to receive a symbolic adoption.
This is a tax-deductible gift which goes towards the $8,400 per year it costs to care for each animal at the DLC, as well as aiding our conservation efforts in Madagascar.

The average cost of caring for a lemur is $8,400 per year. Donate $8,400 to the Adopt a Lemur program and we’ll happily allow you to choose your favorite specific lemur at the DLC as your adoptee for one year! Email adoptalemur@duke.edu for more information.
