Learning Labs are designed to be paired with a tour of the Duke Lemur Center for a well-rounded science experience that provides students with “hands-on, minds-on” activities and lab inquiries grounded in the North Carolina State Curriculum Standards.
The Lemur S.C.O.U.T. Patch Program has been developed by the Duke Lemur Center for Girl Scouts, Y Guides, and other local youth to enrich their understanding of lemur science and conservation.
The Duke Lemur Center offers science camps for third- through eighth-grade students. Students meet our lemurs, participate in fantastic lectures with our world-renowned lemur specialists, and complete exciting interactive activities. Topics include primatology, research, conservation, archaeology, animal care, and more!
