The DLC is temporarily closed to all visitors due to COVID-19. We have recently launched virtual (online) educational content and invite you to please explore these options instead. Virtual tours are a wonderful way to learn about lemurs AND to support the DLC while our tour path is closed and we can’t rely on our usual tour income, which supplies almost 21% of our annual operating budget.
To learn more about the DLC’s response to COVID-19 and the most up-to-date information on our reopening, please visit our coronavirus response FAQ.
Archived information (below)
Please note that the tour details and scheduling information below do not apply during the Center’s closure due to COVID-19. Until further notice, we regret that we are closed to all visitors and are unable to host onsite tours and events.
This seasonal experience (October through April) is specially designed for the little lemur lovers in your life! Our Little Lemurs children’s tour and is highly recommended for groups with children between the ages of 3 and 8. This tour follows the same path as the general tour, but the material and pacing are catered to a younger audience. Our experienced guides will focus on providing the best possible experience for younger primates on this tour.
Like our standard Lemurs Live tour, our Little Lemurs tour is a broad introduction to the DLC, its mission, and its residents. However, because this experience is specifically designed for younger kiddos, our guides will focus primarily on the children and their questions and interests.

NOTE: Little Lemurs is a seasonal tour and is offered from October through April. From May through September, our Self-Guided General Tour is a flexible, open house-style option perfect for visitors young and old.
