Holiday Adoption Package

Give the gift of lemurs! Symbolically adopt an aye-aye and support her care at the DLC, and receive a very special commemorative stuffed animal.

Our limited edition 2022 Holiday Adoption Package includes a plush aye-aye custom made for the DLC. Our plush “Agatha” is 6″ tall and 11″ long, plus an 11″ bushy tail. (See photos of Agatha and the stuffed animal modeled after her!)

You’ll also receive a personalized adoption packet featuring your aye-aye, and if an email is provided, you or your gift recipient will receive quarterly photos and updates about your adoptee and her life here at the DLC.

This special gift is available for a $100 donation, which supports lemur care and conservation.

This package is available for shipping only within the United States.

Orders will begin shipping in mid-November but we recommend ordering yours now. Our Holiday Adoption Packages sold out last year, so don’t miss your chance!

Order soon to ensure delivery by December 25. Orders received by December 16 should arrive in time for Christmas, but we cannot guarantee the arrival time. Orders received after December 20 may not ship until early January.

Your $100 adoption includes a tax-deductible gift of $80 to the Duke Lemur Center, which goes towards the $8,400 per year it costs to care for each animal at the DLC, as well as aiding our conservation efforts in Madagascar.
