Madagascar Fauna Group
The official website of the Madagascar Fauna Group (MFG), an international consortium of zoos and related institutions working together to conserve lemurs and the other spectacular wildlife and wild places of Madagascar. The Duke Lemur Center was a founding member of the MFG and continues to coordinate its conservation work in Madagascar through its partnership with the MFG.

ARKive
Using film, photographs and audio recordings, ARKive is creating a unique record of the world's biodiversity - complementing other species information datasets, and making a key resource available for scientists, conservationists, educators and the general public.

Center for Applied Biodiversity Science
The Center for Applied Biodiversity Science (CABS) at Conservation International brings together leading experts in science and technology to collect and interpret data about biodiversity, develop strategic plans for conservation, and forge partnerships in all sectors that promote conservation goals.

Convention on Biological Diversity
One of the key agreements adopted at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro as part of a comprehensive strategy for "sustainable development" was the Convention on Biological Diversity. The Convention establishes three main goals: the conservation of biological diversity, the sustainable use of its components, and the fair and equitable sharing of the benefits from the use of genetic resources.

Wildlife Conservation Society
WCS has worked in Madagascar for over 13 years in site-based programs and on species-based conservation.  In the overall aim to inform sustainable resource use in Madagascar's unique terrestrial and marine environments, WCS' work is integrated in national and regional conservation planning and policy development initiatives.

World Wildlife Fund
To provide a long-term, science-based strategic vision, WWF is developing an ecoregion action program for the Dry and Spiny Forests of Madagascar.
