Our tireless and fearless Primate Technicians kept all our lemurs safe and sound through Hurricane Irene. The lemurs were safe and snug inside. As soon as it was safe, the lemurs had the option of returning to their outdoor runs, while the technicians made sure the fencing for the Natural Habitat Enclosure was intact and cleared any fallen limbs or trees that might present hazards. All animals and humans came through the storm safely.
